International Hockey Federation's (FIH) observer Tony von Ondarza is in the Capital and will hold a meeting with the HI but it has been confirmed that Aslam Khan will skip the meeting.

Sources within the Hockey India have confirmed that  Aslam Khan was not happy with the way things were heading and has finally decided to put in his pares.

''He will not be attending tomorrow's meeting and will not be working any more beyond 20th November,'' he added.

In a couple of days, Aslam is expected to make an official announcement about his future course of action.

Meanwhile, it has also been learnt that IOA chief Suresh Kalmadi and Bengal Hockey Association (BHA) president JB Roy have decided to join hands.

A meeting is reportedly scheduled for 19th November in the Capital which would be attended by 19 state associations who are affiliated to HI.

However, he added that despite the power struggle within the HI, India will not be stripped off its hosting rights of the next year's World Cup.
